The  EnerPlex Kickr™ IV+ is a lightweight, flexible, and weather-resistant 6 watt solar charger that powers your small USB devices whenever you need. These solar panels will charge a device directly using the power of the sun at the same rate as a wall outlet. It also comes with an integrated battery to help continuously charge your devices even when the sun is momentarily out of site.

People ask, what makes the Kickr IV+ portable solar charger case so flexible, and durable? It's the CIGS solar technology they're made with. While most solar panels, like monocrystalline are placed on a glass substrate which makes the units heavy, rigid, and very breakable, Ascent's CIGS solar has the ability to place solar on a plastic backing. This allows the solar panels to be extremely flexible, super lightweight, and quite rugged. And this solar technology is patented so only EnerPlex sells these specific panels manufactured by our parrent company Ascent Solar. The Kickr IV+ portable solar charger case can charge a variety of USB-enabled devices, up to tablets. Obvoiusly, the more solar cells that are exposed to the sun, the stronger the charge will be. Therefore, our Kickr™ II+ two cell 3.0 watt flexible solar charging case would be our slowest charging Kickr panel (5V @ 0.6 Amps), while the Kickr IV+ with its four cells (5V @ 1.2 Amps) can charge small electronic devices like smartphones & tablets at about the same rate as being plugged into the wall outlet. Do you have the AC adapter?

Does this panel have the ability to charge the Generatr 100?

Thanks for your inquiry! The Kickr IV+ is intended for charging USB devices, not our large Generatr batteries. To charge a Generatr 1200, we recommend our Commandr series.

 I realise the panel itself is waterproof, but I need to know whether the voltage regulator or whatever part the phone cable will plug into is waterproof

The junction box is water resistant. We cannot guarantee no damage will happen to any devices plugged in to the junction box should it be exposed to water. If the junction box is exposed to water without any devices plugged in, shake any water off and allow to dry for 48 hours before plugging devices in again.

How long will this product hold the stored charge? Will the battery fully charge an iPhone 6 Plus?

The integrated battery is not intended for use at a later time. Instead, it is meant to provide an uninterrupted charge to your device should the panel become momentarily partially or fully shaded.
